Now available from Bonomi North America - SRL Deadman handle ball valves. Our "low torque" seat design is a unique feature that others in the market fail to offer. The applications are endless, however, they are mostly all industrial related and are used anywhere where filling, sampling, draining is a must, and where waste is expensive, and dead-end positive shut off is required.
Generally, when one gets over 2” size for a Deadman valve, the selection is very limited as the handles cannot overcome the high torques required, especially on flanged ball valves. Bonomi offers a full line of flanged deadman handle valves. Bonomi North America also features leaded/unleaded brass and flanged SRL’s to 3”, and SS to 4”. Three-way brass is offered to 3” in both leaded and unleaded versions.
These valves are very popular with manufacturers of equipment and are used outdoors, such as on trucks or mobile devices that require transferring of fluids, jet fuel dispensing, marine dockside fueling, propane tanks, and more. For indoor use, they are very popular on 55-gallon drum dispensing, used as tank drains, and multiple filling stations. Extended pipelines are now using deadman handles for quick draining and sampling as well. Petroleum-based chemicals are seemingly targets for these valves because of the high cost of losing any fluid, plus the danger of drippage causing environmental problems.

5 REASONS WHY BONOMI'S VERSION IS BETTER THAN THE LEADING VALVE PRODUCT
LESS TORQUE:
Less torque to open the valve
STEM STRENGTH:
Square ISO strong stems vs. double “D” thin milled stems
ISO PAD:
Bonomi uses the ISO pad as the connection of the handle to the valve. The leading competitor uses the rear cast mounting pad for this connection which leaves the handle actually on a down angle instead of straight and level to the pad. Many times the casting isn’t made true, thus the dipping of the handle.
FLOW:
The Bonomi versions are FULL port and the leading competitors are reduced port. This allows faster draining and filling which is why these valves are used in the first place! Time is money.
OPTIONS:
A vast variety of optional valves that can be used, not equaled by any competitor.
